Budget Airlines are a luxury and don’t let anyone tell you different
How many times have you heard Americans cry and holler about Spirit and Frontier Airlnes (and Jet Blue too)? But let's not do too much because budget airlines can and will always save you more on the back end.
As you all know, well then again maybe you don’t know since you’re here BUT other countries have budget airlines too which will put American budget airlines to shame. Just imagine you just booked the trip of a lifetime. I’m talking all inclusive resort with roundtrip airport transfers, private tours and additional excursions for seven days in Cartagena during their Independent festival Celebration then travel to Peru and stay in the Skylodge Adventure Suites all under $1,500 just to turn around and pay over $2.5k for your flights via United, American or Delta.
If you’re traveling international, FLY INTERNATIONAL!
On average a flight to South America from the southern most point in the U.S may cost $800 roundtrip and flights to Europe from the eastern most point in the U.S may cost you $1,000 roundtrip. All the while a round trip flight from IUD (Washington DC) to CDG (Paris, France) in October can cost you a whopping, DRUM ROLL, $400 on Play Airline which is an Icelandic budget airline. And don’t get me wrong they are considered a budget airline, but you will definitely not sacrifice comfort on these flights. Me personally, I am NOT spending more on my flight than my trip, baby I am NOT going for it.
At the end of the day, what do you value more, the journey or the destination?
